David R. Glickman

David is a native of Juno Beach, Florida, and he returned home to practice law as a partner in The Markarian Group, where he co-chairs the firm’s Litigation Practice, and is involved in every aspect of the firm’s representation of clientele. David grew up just across the bridge from our firm’s main office in Palm Beach Gardens, and attended The Benjamin School before obtaining his undergraduate degree in Finance cum laude from Florida State University. Afterward, he graduated cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law and received FSU Law’s Business Law Certificate with Honors. Following graduation, the Florida State University Law Review published his note titled Embracing Third Party Litigation Finance.

Throughout his time in Florida’s capital city of Tallahassee, David enjoyed a wide variety of experiences in Florida’s business, legal and political arenas, including creative collaboration with political leadership and national executives as a lobbying associate. He also assisted in the representation of a variety of financial entities including investment advisers, security broker-dealers, banks and other financial institutions in regulatory investigation and administrative enforcement actions.

David’s clients appreciate his abilities to quickly understand the nuances of any discipline, to communicate complex ideas in simple, relatable ways, and to seamlessly develop and implement comprehensive strategic action plans. David focuses his practice on assisting businesses and individuals in all aspects of corporate strategy, helping clients address challenges from the boardroom to the courtroom. A crucial part of his practice includes preventing and resolving various types of commercial and civil litigation, and other disputes, including probate and estate litigation. David’s litigation experience informs his transactional practice, where he puts those lessons learned to work for clients during front-end drafting, in hopes of avoiding similar disputes. David also uses his experience to guide professional clients through interactions with Florida’s executive agencies, including defending and resolving administrative enforcement actions, compliance, and licensing.

David is an active member of the local Palm Beach County Bar Association, in addition to the Florida Bar Business Law and the Young Lawyer’s Sections. David is a dedicated member of his local community, having been born and raised here. He enjoys music, boating, being active outdoors and spending time with family.
