Alexandria Ayala is The Markarian Group’s Director of Community Engagement, a critical part of the firm’s commitment to our neighbors and the organizations that are dedicated to ensuring progress and prosperity, and to making our area a great place to live and work. Consistent with our firm’s culture, Alexandria works alongside public and private organizations to serve in a variety of capacities, doing well, by doing good.
Alexandria has a decade of experience in community advocacy, government, and legislative affairs. She has previously served as a Legislative Aide on the Palm Beach County Commission, where she formed successful partnerships and supported policy initiatives that address our community’s concerns. She has also served as a Legislative Aide in The Florida House of Representatives, where she worked on constituent issues and supported efforts to craft policy that impacted Palm Beach County’s families, businesses and schools. Alexandria is also honored to represent District 2 on the Palm Beach County School Board and is the first Hispanic woman elected to serve in that capacity.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Palm Springs, Florida, Alexandria graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Political Science (BA) and a minor in Journalism Studies, after attending three Palm Beach County public schools. Committed to empowering our community through engagement and service, Alexandria is proud to serve with various organizations throughout Palm Beach County.
In her spare time, Alexandria enjoys traveling with her partner Rob, exercising, supporting the arts and live music, exploring Florida’s natural areas, and cooking.
